*About Connective Wellness*
Connective Wellness is a specialized transformative wellness clinic and online platform dedicated to empowering women navigating the intricacies of living with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), chronic pain, and related challenges. We are deeply committed to the six pillars of lifestyle medicine, offering a holistic approach to treatment and care. Our practice is uniquely positioned as a self-pay clinic, enabling us to provide in-depth and advanced physical therapy services tailored to our patients' specific needs.
*About the Position*
We are currently seeking experienced physical therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for a physical therapist with a strong foundation in patient care who is looking to contribute to a specialized, supportive environment on a flexible schedule. Whether you’re looking to enhance your expertise or support patients with complex conditions like EDS, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with or without the commitment of a full-time role.
This position pays *$*42-$48 per hour if you come on as a part-time or full-time W2 employee (strongly preferred). The pay is slightly higher as a 1099 per diem contractor, accounting for self-employment taxes and the exclusion of benefits (for full-time employees only). Contractors can expect a salary range of $50-$55 per hour.
In this role you will:
* Conduct thorough patient assessments focusing on mobility, strength, balance, proprioception, and overall function
* Devise individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on patient-specific goals, particularly targeting individuals with hEDS, HSD, and chronic pain conditions
* Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue work, cupping, Graston, and neurologic dry needling to alleviate pain and improve physical function
* Educate patients and their families on condition management and preventative strategies
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Jane app, documenting progress and adjusting treatments as needed
* Stay abreast of the latest physical therapy research, particularly relating to hEDS, HSD, and chronic pain management
* Embrace a high degree of independence post-initial training, adept at working within a self-pay practice model
*Required Qualifications*
* Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
* Valid New Hampshire physical therapy license
* Certified in dry needling
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Passionate about delivering patient-centered, advanced care to those with complex health needs
* Previous experience with hEDS, HSD, or chronic pain patients is advantageous
*How to Apply*
We welcome applications from new graduates and experienced professionals alike. Please submit a resume and letter of introduction via Indeed*. Resumes without a cover letter/letter of introduction will not be considered.* We hire on vibe far more than we do on strictly a resume—we assume if you're applying you have skills in your field; what we can't know from your resume is if you'll fit into our culture. Please consider the following questions as you write your letter of introduction:
* Connective Wellness specializes in treating patients with conditions such as EDS, POTS, and MCAS. How have you adapted your therapeutic approach to work with patients who have complex and chronic health challenges?
* Our clinic values share collaboration across disciplines, including nutrition and integrative care. How do you incorporate multidisciplinary approaches when working with patients, particularly those managing multiple comorbidities? Which manual techniques do you find bring your patients the most relief?
* We aim to provide compassionate care that empowers patients to take control of their health. How do you build trust and foster long-term relationships with patients who often face frustrating and misunderstood conditions?
* We are passionate about growing our practice to serve more people with chronic conditions. How do you see yourself contributing to the expansion and success of our mission? How you see yourself expanding upon the Flometrics® protocol with Dr. Cole and becoming a leader in this niche field?
* Please specify approximately how many hours weekly you're looking to work with us. We welcome PRN work, but are most looking for part-time and full-time work, especially those that that encompass "off" hours including at least part time evenings and weekends that our clients so need.
Connective Wellness is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering diversity and inclusion. We are excited to offer this opportunity to join our team, contributing to our mission of empowering women with EDS, HSD, and related conditions through personalized and compassionate care.
