Fimador are currently looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead Integrations & Platform Engineering organisation — the team responsible for how our product connects to the world. In a modern SaaS ecosystem, the product is only as powerful as the systems it connects to. This role owns the strategy, architecture, and execution behind integration, APIs, partner connectivity, and internal platform capabilities that enable fast, reliable, and secure integrations at global scale. Duties: Define the long-term architectural vision for APIs, eventing, and integration frameworks Establish standards for how integrations are designed, built, versioned, and supported Drive adoption of API-first and event-driven architecture across engineering Lead and grow multiple teams of senior and staff engineers and managers Build a culture of ownership, platform thinking, and operational excellence Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in engineering leadership Proven experience owning API platforms, integration ecosystems, or developer platforms in a SaaS environment Experience operating systems that support large numbers of third-party integrations Background in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native platforms or in multi-tenant SaaS platforms Systems thinker who can design for scale and simplicity Experience leading teams large matrix teams Experience with cloud-native architecture on AWS/Azure, microservices, Kubernetes, event streaming, modern API gateway, CI/CD.
