As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, deploying, and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications. This fully remote position requires a strong background in software development, system administration, and experience with AWS cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities
Focus on all aspects of day-to-day DevOps tasks with a primary focus on GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure according to best practices. Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, and monitoring. Manage GitLab continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Identify, diagnose, and resolve system performance issues. Ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based applications and data by implementing best cloud security practices. Monitor cloud instances and services for performance and cost optimisation. Collaborate with development teams to integrate project changes and ensure system stability. Document system processes for future reference and problem resolution. Maintain our EC2 GitLab Runner fleet. Provide DevOps support and maintenance for Adobe Commerce, PMS, and Labelling application environments. Handle incident management and root cause analysis. Maintain and improve infrastructure monitoring and dashboards to ensure visibility into system performance and health. Key Skills Required
Proficiency in AWS cloud services. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab CI, or similar. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, New Relic. Understanding of network security and best practices in cloud security. Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. Experience maintaining and improving infrastructure monitoring and dashboards. Knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Desirable). Experience with integration using Playwright (Desirable). Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps practices (Desirable). Benefits
