Design & Technology Teacher

Design & Technology Teacher .
The Right Candidate Will
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology, including experience with practical projects, CAD, and materials
Understand the curriculum and how to deliver lessons that are both engaging and effective
Be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative learning environment
About the Design & Technology Department The Design & Technology Department at the school is a central part of the curriculum, inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The team delivers a broad range of topics, from traditional materials and woodworking to modern manufacturing techniques, CAD, and product design.
Lessons are carefully planned to challenge students while supporting progress. Students benefit from structured projects, assessment, and targeted interventions where necessary. The department encourages innovation, independent thinking, and real-world application of skills, ensuring students leave with both confidence and competence in design and technology.
