Straight Truck Driver

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, team players to in Montreal, QC area. As a Straight Truck Driver your job will be to haul mail within Montreal. We offer full time opportunities plus benefits. Training/certification, especially for Class 9 goods are required.

Company vehicle will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be Customer friendly We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation and able to work under minimum supervision
• Lift packages up to 70 lbs. and flexible during shifts.
• Able to get in and out of the straight truck and walk up and down stairs through your shift.

Basic Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Canada
• Class 3 driver license (airbrakes endorsement preferred)
• Clean driver's abstract
• Successfully pass a pre-employment driving record background check
• Successfully pass a fingerprints based background check. ( At company Cost)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
