You will be responsible for processing all outgoing shipments, which includes verifying order accuracy, preparing appropriate shipping documentation, selecting the correct packaging materials, and coordinating with various shipping carriers. A meticulous approach to your work is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. We expect all team members to uphold the highest standards of safety, understanding and utilizing the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks. This role will involve some lifting and requires a good understanding of warehouse logistics. You will be a key player in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Generate shipping labels and related documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Verify order details against shipment contents to ensure accuracy.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight) for pickup scheduling.
- Maintain detailed records of all shipments, including tracking information.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipment status and potential issues.
- Assist with inventory management and periodic stock checks, including occasional lifting.
