*What You'll Bring* *Education & Certification*
* *NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) registration*, or current enrollment in an NMTCB‑ or ARRT‑approved radiology program.
* Proof of active enrollment required each term.
* Senior students must provide graduation‑eligibility documentation 30 days before graduation.
* *Registry exam must be passed within 90 days* of completing an NMTCB‑ or ARRT‑recognized program.
* *BLS for Healthcare Providers* (AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network) required upon hire unless ACLS/PALS meets standards outlined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
*Skills & Experience*
* Strong technical, scientific, and professional knowledge of nuclear medicine and radiologic procedures.
* Proficiency with imaging equipment and the Radiology Information System (RIS).
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to instruct and support patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
*What You'll Do*
* Demonstrate and uphold the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions and decisions.
* Produce clear, high‑quality diagnostic images as ordered by radiologists, cardiologists, or physicians.
* Prepare and position patients, and provide clear instructions before, during, and after procedures.
* Process imaging studies following established protocols to ensure optimal image quality.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized work environment aligned with MMC infection control standards.
* Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients and colleagues.
* Assist with the preparation and administration of radioisotopes, including dosage monitoring and allergy screening.
* Deliver patient care that prioritizes safety, comfort, and a positive experience.
* Follow proper medical and surgical aseptic techniques.
* Complete additional assignments or projects as directed by the regional nuclear medicine lead.
