LOCATION NOTE: This role is hybrid in Scottsdale, AZ (3 days onsite). We are only considering candidates who currently reside within commuting distance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides datadomain support to IMG, EIS, and other enterprise clients to enhance investment decisions and fund oversight. Serves as the main contact for investment data inquiries, partnering with internal teams to ensure data integrity while managing daily and ad hoc tasks under tight deadlines. Oversees operational activities to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Analyzes and resolves complex data issues and serves as a process expert for the assigned data domain. Leads process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality. Removes roadblocks and performs root cause analysis to implement short and longterm solutions, escalating issues when needed. Delivers proactive client support, anticipating needs and improving business decisions. Leverages EIS and IMG networks and partners with external vendors to enhance data management practices. Develops strong knowledge of assigned funds, securities, and related operational processes. Understands key workflow drivers, portfolio impacts, and maintains broad awareness of the investment management landscape. Supports new product implementations and improvement projects by documenting and validating requirements, ensuring accurate system setup, and coordinating communication with stakeholders. Recommends workflow and process enhancements. Integrates new technologies, prepares teams for change, and maintains uptodate procedures and documentation. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree (preferably in accounting, finance, economics, or related field). Minimum of three years relevant work experience, including one year of project management experience preferred. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with experience working with large investment datasets and applying data management concepts. Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AWS analytics tools; advanced Excel skills, with familiarity in VBA or Python as a plus. Ability to translate technical data findings into clear, actionable insights for investment and operations stakeholders. Strong decisionmaking, prioritization, and adaptability in a fastpaced, evolving environment; experience working in Agile or iterative workflows preferred. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams, build strong relationships, and communicate clearly with both technical and business partners. This role is based in our Scottsdale, AZ office and follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week onsite.
