What You'll Do:
The I/DD Compliance Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and monitoring all ENJ state-wide I/DD and DDD portfolio required trainings. They create compliance control methods and are accountable for facilitating and maintaining compliance control methods for both new and existing team members. They will also ensure all divisional training complies with applicable regulatory federal and state requirements and in accordance with New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and ENJ standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversees/Ensures state-wide training compliance in accordance with all state, federal, and DDD regulations for ENJ's I/DD and DDD portfolio.
- Coordinates/schedules/facilitates on-site training for full and part-time Direct Care staff and tracks all additional required trainings not limited to Professional Development Credits (PDC's) and other required compliance training.
- Acts as point-person and collaborates with internal I/DD Management Team, and HR Compliance to ensure I/DD training is aligned with programmatic and regulatory standards.
- Conducts weekly audits of all I/DD team members training records to maintain continuous compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identifies compliance deficiencies.
- Follows process procedures to ensure transcripts/training certifications are submitted to HR Compliance in a timely manner, not to exceed the 14-day expiration period.
- Develop/Organize/Maintain SharePoint/ Credible files of training checklists/sign offs/ transcript information as well as tracks training certifications in collaboration with HR Compliance and QI for licensing audits and inspections.
- Provides weekly/monthly compliance and quality assurance reporting to identify non-compliance and risk management.
- Continually monitors staff compliance and business processes. Makes recommendations for solutions/improvements.
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and Department of Human Services (DHS) licensing standards, regulations, and circulars.
- Recommends policy and procedure development to avoid risks and non-compliance.
Who You Are:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of DDD or related experience.
- Requirements: Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Skills: Familiarity with DDD regulatory compliance, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and strong facilitation skills.
- Attributes: Excellent problem‑solving, listening, planning, and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to interact professionally at all times with internal and external stakeholders.
