Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing human capital initiatives, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The Human Resources Specialist will be instrumental in implementing HR policies, overseeing benefits administration, and driving initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
Duties
- Manage talent acquisition processes including sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs and conduct employee evaluations to support performance management initiatives.
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans utilizing HRIS systems like ADP.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA, OSHA, and affirmative action planning.
- Develop and implement change management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Facilitate employee relations through conflict management and effective communication skills.
- Support HR sourcing efforts and workforce management strategies.
- Assist in organization design, succession planning, and strategic planning initiatives to optimize human resources management.
- Maintain accurate data collection and data entry related to HR processes while ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics for leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of human capital management principles.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law including FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP is highly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition, employee orientation, performance management, and training & development processes.
- Knowledge of organizational design, change management strategies, and succession planning practices.
- Proficiency in data collection, data entry, contracts administration, and social media management related to HR branding efforts.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment. This position offers an engaging environment for professionals passionate about shaping organizational culture through strategic HR practices while supporting the growth of our talented workforce.
- Support with office management as needed.
- Knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
