Job Title: Haul Truck Driver (Mining Operations)

Location: Kermit, TX
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | 12-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $21–$26 per hour (based on experience)
Per Diem: $75 per day (eligible workdays)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Haul Truck Drivers to support our mining operations. This role is responsible for transporting raw material within the mine site in a safe, efficient, and production-driven manner. The ideal candidate has experience operating off-road haul trucks in mining, quarry, or industrial environments and understands the importance of safety and communication in an active mine setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks to transport material within the mine site
• Follow designated haul routes, traffic patterns, and dumping procedures
• Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance issues
• Safely load and dump material in coordination with equipment operators
• Maintain awareness of surroundings, including other equipment and personnel
• Communicate with supervisors and dispatch to support production needs
• Maintain a clean and serviceable vehicle
• Follow all company, site, and MSHA safety policies and procedures
• Work extended 12-hour shifts in outdoor and industrial conditions

Required Qualifications

• Previous haul truck, heavy equipment, or off-road driving experience
• Ability to work a 7-on / 7-off schedule with 12-hour shifts
• Strong commitment to safety and situational awareness
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic mechanical awareness to identify and report equipment issues
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Preferred Qualifications (Pluses)

• Prior mining, quarry, or sand pit experience
• MSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Safety-related certifications or training
• Experience operating articulated or rigid-frame haul trucks

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $20–$26 per hour (DOE)

Work Environment
