Duties

• Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols
• Operate POS system for accurate cash handling and sales processing
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations with enthusiasm
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, restroom area and seating areas, following health and safety standards
• Support sales efforts by promoting menu items and upselling products to enhance guest experience

Experience

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service
• Experience in food preparation or food service roles
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
