Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, managerial, and communication skills, with experience in office management, bookkeeping, and vendor relations. The candidate must be capable of handling a variety of tasks human resources functions, and team supervision. The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining efficient workflows, managing schedules, and supporting staff to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring an organized and productive work environment
- Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping using QuickBooks
- Maintain filing systems, front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette standards
- Manage human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to office management
- Support team management efforts by fostering effective communication and organizational skills across departments
Experience
- Proven experience in office management
- Strong background in bookkeeping, payroll administration, budgeting, and vendor management
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
- Prior experience in human resources functions is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, calendar management, and administrative tasks
- Background in office management or clerical/office experience is a plus
