Sanitation Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards across our facility. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic environment for food production, manufacturing, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, or janitorial services, with a focus on sanitation and sanitation-related duties. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, and workspaces to meet health and safety standards
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and machinery
• Assist with waste removal and proper disposal of trash and recyclables
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
• Support food processing or manufacturing operations by ensuring a sanitized environment
• Participate in routine sanitation inspections and report any issues or hazards promptly
• Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and sanitation standards
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety compliance
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in food processing or related industries is advantageous but not required
• Reliable with good time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently

This role is vital in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant environment that supports our operational excellence.

Pay: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
