About the Position

Cheaper By The Minute is growing and seeking a motivated, dependable Retail Store Lead to help drive daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This leadership role is ideal for someone who leads by example, thrives on responsibility, and enjoys guiding a small team while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Required Availability: Fully available from 9:45 AM – 6:30 PM, seven days a week
• Consistent Schedule: Steady hours with reliable shifts

Key Responsibilities

Store Leadership & Team Support
Assist in managing a small team by providing guidance, direction, and on-the-floor support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Opening & Closing Duties
Handle store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, securing the store, and ensuring operational readiness.

Customer Experience
Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service while serving as a point of contact for customer questions or concerns.

Brand Representation
Set the standard for professionalism, work ethic, and teamwork while representing Cheaper By The Minute positively.

Store Operations
Oversee stocking, merchandising, organization, and cleanliness to keep the store running efficiently and looking its best.

Project Management
Help plan and execute store projects such as product resets, seasonal transitions, merchandising updates, and operational improvements.

Problem Solving & Decision Making
Quickly address challenges, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
