The Cigna Group is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Executive Assistant to support our Pharmacy & Care Delivery team. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive administrative support to the SVP of Home Pharmacy and Virtual Care, serving as a trusted adviser and a resourceful problem-solver. Beyond essential admin tasks, you'll oversee cross-functional initiatives aiding senior leaders and manage ad-hoc requests. The best fit thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates outstanding communication, sharp attention to detail, and excels at juggling multiple priorities with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diverse and confidential administrative support to the SVP Home Pharmacy and Virtual Care and designated senior leaders, leveraging deep experience and understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Handle complex scheduling needs involving leaders across the enterprise, including senior forums—completing requests swiftly, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for executive travel. This includes agenda planning, collaborating with local teams, managing technology and catering needs, liaising with travel and meeting services, sending invitations, and more.
  • Maintain and optimize the SVP's calendar by setting priorities and making on-the-fly decisions to maximize their time amid competing demands.
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization, working closely with fellow executive and administrative assistants, IT support, internal communications, and corporate travel/aviation teams.
  • Lead the administrative aspects of department meetings, covering scheduling, logistics, and technology requirements.
  • Manage leaders' travel arrangements and expense reports to ensure seamless, well-coordinated plans and related tasks.
  • Anticipate challenges or needs before they arise, proactively addressing and resolving them.
  • Arrange and organize meetings—including Webex, Teams and conference calls (booking rooms, posting materials to SharePoint, distributing pre-reads, etc.).
  • Plan and facilitate onboarding for new leadership and staff as needed.
  • Oversee department distribution lists and maintain SharePoint/file systems.
  • Procure necessary equipment and supplies through the company portal system.
  • Collaborate with Real Estate for departmental space planning.
  • Administer vendor payments, track and approve invoices, and manage travel and expense entries via Concur.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in administrative, executive assistant, or project management roles.
  • Ability to operate independently with little supervision, exercise sound judgment, and manage sensitive information discreetly.
  • Exceptional organizational ability to excel in fast-paced settings and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Project management experience is mandatory.
  • Skilled at prioritizing critical tasks and maintaining poise under pressure, always focusing on customer service.
  • Decisive and action-oriented—able to assess situations quickly, gather key data, ask insightful questions, and deliver solutions.
  • Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in managing calendars and coordinating meetings of various sizes with enterprise-wide teams; Outlook experience preferred.
  • Flexible to assist both the primary leader and other team members as required.
  • Capable of thriving in virtual work and team environments, developing effective networks to best support leadership.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and openness to learning advanced features as needed.
  • Adept in troubleshooting tech issues alongside Technology partners.
  • Technically skilled with audio/voice equipment and mobile and desktop devices.
