Dental Assistant

We are a one- doctor private practice seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. We are in an amazing community and have a beautiful state- of- the – art building in which to practice. We promote work-life balance by offering predictable hours. Full-time hours are 8:35am-6:00pm Monday - Thursday.

Excellent communication skills, thoroughness and adaptability are a must. A radiology license is required. Compensation ranges from $19-$22 per hour based on experience. We offer quarterly incentives and an all-team quarterly bonus.

Requirements:

• Radiology License
• Dentrix Knowledge
• CPR Certified
• 4 days per week. No weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare & sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take digital x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred (1 year)
• Knowledge of Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations
