Box Truck Owner Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Owner Operator to join our logistics team. This role involves managing delivery routes, handling cargo, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and cargo handling, with the ability to operate a box truck efficiently and safely. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques as needed
• Manage delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
• Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management and cargo organization when required
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to manage load & unload operations efficiently
• Strong organizational skills for route planning and time management
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $4, $8,000.00 per week
