Lead Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter / Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of carpentry and construction practices, and the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of building projects. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality craftsmanship across various construction and restoration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution
• Oversee the installation of framing, drywall, siding, roofing, flooring, tile laying, cabinetry, doors, fixtures, and other structural components
• Utilize hand tools, power tools.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors as needed for specialized tasks like plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, or roofing
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on construction sites and maintain a clean work environment
• Manage project schedules, materials procurement, and site logistics to optimize workflow

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry (including trim carpentry and framing), roofing, remodeling, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools
• Excellent leadership skills with prior supervisory or team lead experience in construction settings
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Valid experience in working on diverse construction sites with a focus on safety compliance
