Position Summary
The Assistant Manager of Dispensary is responsible for assisting and managing a team of 15 or more dispensary employees for the Company's cannabis dispensary retail store in Framingham, MA. The position is responsible for assisting with managing and directing retail operations of the dispensary while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. This position has managerial and supervisory responsibilities. You will work directly with the General Manager to ensure sound record keeping and compliance with local and state regulations.
Responsibilities and Skills:
The procedure for hiring a Assistant Manager revolves around a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, qualitative and quantitative skills, and the following attributes:
- Organizational and documentation skills
- Leadership of Retail employees
- Manage and coordinate store operations in the absence of the General Manager, including: daily activities, maintenance, training, schedules, customer complaints while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal inspection, billing or licensing requirements.
- May be required to be on-call and to respond to emergency situations at any time. This may include scheduling issues and potentially covering a vacant shift.
- Knowledge of the strains we carry, their effects on the human body, contraindications, customer education, etc.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products, email, and other software applications such as the seed to sale tracking software
- Working with Retail Agents to document best practices
- Creating and monitoring metrics for competitive pricing, product levels, and new product introduction
- Monitoring inventory and cash, performing daily audits with the assistance of the General Manager
- Monitoring sales by Retail Agents for accurate weights and proper products
- Overseeing product recalls, and creating and implementing corrective action plans
- Manage and inspire staff to constantly bring the best possible service to our guests
- Ensure the safety of all employees and guests at all times
- Work day to day to communicate effectively with General Manager and Inventory Manager to ensure weekly orders are fulfilled to maintain high quality standards as well as fully stocked shelves
- Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
Qualifications:
- Advanced METRC Knowledge
- 2+ years of Management experience preferred
- Associate's degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
