Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Duration: 7+ Months with possible extension

Work Shift:
- M – F (2nd shift)

Pay Range: $50 - $56/hr. on W2

Job Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies Software knowledge to assist and support the design, development, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.
• Analyzes user needs and software requirements.
• Designs and implements small software features for products and systems.
• Participates in the design and coding for small features, unit testing, minor debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Assists in performing code reviews and regression tests, as well as triaging of issues to ensure the quality of code.
• Collaborates with others inside the project team to accomplish project objectives.
• Writes technical documentation for Software projects.

Top 5 Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience with C or C++ Programming Language
• 1+ years of Windows Debugging Experience.
• 1+ years' experience with debugging software API
• 1+ years' experience in developing PERL/Python scripts for automation
• Strong Computer Architecture fundamentals.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
