Lube Technician

Job Overview
Animas Nissan/ Hyundai is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our newly featured Service Department . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to perform oil changes, tire services, and vehicle alignments. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance tasks
• Conduct tire services, including installation, rotation, and balancing
• Assist with vehicle alignments and other mechanical repairs
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Diagnose basic automotive issues using mechanical knowledge
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs
• Assist in sales of automotive services and products as needed
• Lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience or automotive service technician experience is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and maintenance procedures
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• A proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques in the automotive field
