Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including assisted living, group homes, and home health environments. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, or autism.
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing changes in condition or behavior.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Utilize mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts when necessary for patient transfers.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Skills

• Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques.
• Experience working in home health, hospice care, nursing homes, or long-term care settings.
• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status or behavior.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in caregiving environments.
• Knowledge of care plans and medication administration protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
