Blair Burton Interiors is seeking an experienced and talented Associate Designer to join our growing team. This is a mid-level role for a highly motivated designer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment and is eager to contribute to high-end residential projects from concept through installation.

This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Designers across all phases of design, including concept development, space planning, and design presentations
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings (floor plans, elevations, lighting, furniture plans, etc.)
• Create 3D renderings and visualizations as needed
• Source furniture, lighting, finishes, textiles, and materials aligned with project budgets and design direction
• Prepare specifications, schedules, and client presentation materials
• Communicate with vendors, showrooms, and workrooms for pricing, lead times, and availability
• Participate in client meetings and provide direct client support
• Assist with order tracking, documentation, and coordination through installation
• Maintain organized project files and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum of 3+ years experience working in a residential interior design firm
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong 3D rendering skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Self-motivated, kind, and professional demeanor
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Pay: $78, $82,000.00 per year
