We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role involves performing cleaning and maintenance tasks primarily during morning hours to ensure the cleanliness and safety of commercial, residential, and industrial spaces. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Conduct floor care activities including buffing, stripping, and waxing floors
• Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep when necessary
• Follow safety procedures and use proper cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
• Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards before the start of business hours
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and proper safety protocols
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor scrubbers
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality for early morning shifts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
