What You'll Do:
As a Welding Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Read blueprints and inspect parts for accuracy and quality
- Measure parts using calipers, tape measures, pin gauges, and other tools
- Adjust laser tables and equipment to maintain tolerances and ensure quality
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials as needed
- Perform work order transactions accurately and update ERP/virtual inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments
- Support production flow and assist in other areas as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Additional duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ year experience in machining or steel manufacturing required
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and push 50–100 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math skills
- Conscious of inventory accuracy and ERP system use
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and cranes
- Capable of handling materials weighing up to 100 lbs
