Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
• Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to promote a welcoming atmosphere
• Support food service operations by assisting with food handling, preparation, and serving when needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food handling and meal preparation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods, including catering and fine dining service
• Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance customer satisfaction and dining experience

Skills

• Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience highly preferred
• Strong background in food industry practices, including food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
• Experience in restaurant or fine dining environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation methods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Familiarity with catering, serving, and food safety regulations is a plus
