Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated, focused Chefs who will assist in preparing and cooking high-quality pizza and elevated pub fare from scratch. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals who care about the culinary craft and creating something exceptional.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing dishes in large quantities while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders.
- Follow all food handling procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and safety standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cooking or catering services.
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation techniques and knife skills.
- Excellent food handling practices with a focus on safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
