Position: Occupational Therapist (PRN – Weekends)

Edgerton Care Center is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team on a PRN weekend basis. If you value connection, creativity, and making a real difference in a community-oriented environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance independence and quality of life
  • Document progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic strategies and adaptive equipment
  • Uphold our core values in every interaction—with residents, families, and coworkers
Qualifications
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Degree from an accredited OT program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred, but not required
  • Dedication to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based practice
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents throughout the shift
  • Manual dexterity for therapy equipment and documentation
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform functional mobility tasks as needed
