Edgerton Care Center is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team on a PRN weekend basis. If you value connection, creativity, and making a real difference in a community-oriented environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities- Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance independence and quality of life
- Document progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic strategies and adaptive equipment
- Uphold our core values in every interaction—with residents, families, and coworkers
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Wisconsin
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred, but not required
- Dedication to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based practice
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity for therapy equipment and documentation
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform functional mobility tasks as needed
