Anne Arundel Veterinary Hospital is looking for a seasoned Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Baltimore.

The Role:

As an experienced assistant, you know the ropes- come in and we will teach you how we operate. We are happy to continue developing your skills and knowledge.

• Advanced Patient Care: Assisting in surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, and complex diagnostic procedures.
• Client Education: Building long-term relationships with pet parents and guiding them through treatment plans.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven Experience: At least 1 year in a clinical setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with restraining cats and dogs, and comfortable discussing vaccines and annual preventative care with pet owners.
• Heart & Humor: Someone who brings positive energy to the team and has a strong work ethic.

Our Offer:

• Competitive Pay: $19-$22 per hour, based on experience.
• Pet care discounts
• Part time- could turn into full time if desired.
• MUST BE available Fridays and Saturdays until 6pm
