Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Utilize Clover POS or other point-of-sale systems to process orders efficiently.

Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.

Pay: $ $16.14 per hour
