Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of high voltage systems. This role requires proficiency in using various electrical tools and equipment, including voltmeters and ohmmeters, to ensure safe and efficient electrical installations and repairs. The Electrician will work primarily on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction projects.
• Valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory depending on local regulations.
