HVAC Installer

Key Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems
• Remove and replace old or damaged HVAC equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
• Ensure installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations
• Test systems for proper operation and performance after installation
• Seal, insulate, and secure ductwork and piping
• Communicate with customers to explain system operation and basic maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times
• Accurately document work performed and materials used

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• HVAC certification or trade school training (preferred)
• Previous HVAC installation experience (preferred, but entry-level candidates may be considered)
• Knowledge of HVAC tools, equipment, and installation techniques
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Good communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and bend for extended periods

Work Environment

• Residential and/or commercial job sites
• Indoor and outdoor work environments
• May require overtime or on-call availability during peak seasons

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time Position - Monday thru Friday
