Job Summary:
Entry level customer service position with the opportunity for advancement based on skill, performance and knowledge. High volume inbound calls, emails and chat with a focus on billing and payments. Insurance experience not required but beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service over the phone, online chat, or email.
- Document and update customer records based on interactions and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
- Mail requested documentation.
- Complete daily tasks when not on the phone or chat.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or other related fields.
- Ability to build rapport with clients with an enthusiastic attitude.
- A problem solver with keen attention to detail.
- A "let's work together" approach with open communication, excellence in service, integrity, and accountability.
- Ability to build trust by working as a team member, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
- A positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
