We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of our warehouse operations and ensuring efficient inventory management. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. Your primary focus will be on safe and efficient material handling, contributing directly to our overall logistics success. The responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials between different warehouse areas, and performing routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. Experience with various types of forklifts and a valid certification are required. We emphasize the importance of wearing appropriate PPE at all times, including safety shoes, high-visibility vests, and hard hats when necessary. This position involves significant Lifting and requires physical stamina to perform duties effectively. We are dedicated to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety in all our Logistics operations. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment within the warehouse.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
