We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Columbus, Ohio. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will be involved in all aspects of material handling, from receiving and storing products to preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and accurately store incoming materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, or shipping areas using appropriate equipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times during operational tasks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- The ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs is a requirement of this position.
- Work collaboratively with the logistics team to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines to ensure the integrity of the supply chain.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a related warehouse role is preferred but not required. Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
