We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and in a timely manner. You will work closely with inventory management systems to ensure stock levels are maintained and accurate. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Stage outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly labeled.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely after proper training and certification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
- Utilize PPE as required for specific tasks.
- Comply with all lifting guidelines and ergonomic best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
