Become a vital part of our operations as a Picker/Packer in San Antonio, Texas! We are looking for energetic and precise individuals to manage the critical functions of order fulfillment within our busy logistics center. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, carefully packed, and prepared for timely dispatch. Responsibilities include using hand-held scanners or pick sheets to locate inventory, verifying item details and quantities, and using appropriate packing materials to safeguard products during transit. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is paramount. All employees are expected to strictly follow safety procedures and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and will need to perform regular lifting tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse stock according to order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage and verify quantities.
- Efficiently pack orders using suitable materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Keep packing stations and work areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear the necessary PPE.
- Meet productivity goals while maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Support inventory management efforts as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or packing is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of and compliance with safety regulations.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good team collaboration skills.
