Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in Omaha, Nebraska! We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to accurately and efficiently pick and pack customer orders. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the right products on time. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating our warehouse using RF scanners or pick lists to locate and retrieve items from shelves and storage areas. You will verify product accuracy, count quantities, and ensure items are safely prepared for shipment. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position offers opportunities for growth within our expanding logistics network. We value teamwork and a commitment to excellence. Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability and a proactive approach to task completion. You will be expected to meet picking quotas while maintaining high-quality standards. Physical stamina is required for this role, involving significant standing, walking, and some bending. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (if applicable and trained).
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is a plus.
