Join our vibrant logistics hub in Tampa, Florida, as an Inventory Clerk! We need a meticulous and organized individual to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, performing audits, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory data is precise. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, supporting efficient order fulfillment and stock management. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring items are logged correctly.
- Monitor stock levels and report any potential shortages or overages.
- Identify and properly handle damaged or expired inventory.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure proper product rotation.
- Generate basic inventory reports for management review.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Good data entry skills and the ability to work with numbers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to safety and maintaining a secure work environment is essential.
