We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to unload, inspect, and document all incoming shipments, verifying them against purchase orders and delivery receipts. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. You will work closely with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the receiving process.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and other documentation.
- Accurately record all received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
