Our Tampa, Florida facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to improve inventory accuracy. A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of warehouse **logistics** are essential. This position requires a commitment to **safety** and adherence to all warehouse protocols, including the correct use of **PPE**. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our **logistics** operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and obsolescence.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status to management.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of all inventory items.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform **lifting** up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and inventory best practices.
- Understanding of **safety** procedures and **PPE** usage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
