We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy distribution center in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products within our warehouse. This position is critical to our Logistics operations, ensuring the timely movement of inventory and the efficient loading/unloading of trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will perform routine inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order. Adherence to all company Safety policies and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. This role involves significant Lifting of various items. If you have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a desire to contribute to a productive team, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Stack and retrieve inventory using forklifts.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks and report any equipment issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to perform Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of Logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
