We are seeking an organized and meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Dallas, Texas facility. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels. Your work directly supports our Logistics operations by providing accurate data for production planning and order fulfillment. This position requires a sharp mind for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve inventory issues. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all company Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. While not the primary focus, some Lifting may be required to access and verify inventory. Join our team and play a key role in optimizing our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Track and report on inventory levels and movements.
- Identify damaged or obsolete stock and manage its disposition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting up to 30 pounds.
