We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to manage inventory, track shipments, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections on forklifts, adhering to all safety regulations, and operating various types of forklifts as needed. Experience with different types of racking systems and inventory management software is a plus. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Adhere to all Lifting requirements and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Strong commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
