Job Summary:
Our expanding logistics network is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role requires strong leadership, effective team management, and a deep understanding of warehouse best practices to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You will drive performance improvements, manage staff, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with all operational and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a proven track record in warehouse supervision. A key focus will be on fostering a culture of safety, ensuring all team members strictly adhere to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands vigilance in maintaining a secure and productive environment. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities and personnel.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipment.
  • Enforce all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
  • Oversee the implementation and adherence to safety programs and PPE usage.
  • Liaise with management, other departments, and external partners.
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and resource allocation.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with WMS software and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Ability to perform occasional moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using PPE correctly and ensuring team compliance.
