Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage locations using appropriate equipment.
- Stage materials for production or shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other manual handling equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly scanning and labeling items.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Ensure the efficient movement of goods within the logistics network.
- Practice safe lifting techniques to avoid injury.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with logistics processes.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute.
