Our Indianapolis, Indiana, fulfillment center is seeking energetic and dependable Fulfillment Associates to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of fulfilling customer orders, from picking products to preparing them for shipment. As a Fulfillment Associate, you'll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in every step. Key responsibilities include accurately picking items using RF scanners, verifying order details, packing products with care, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position requires individuals who are meticulous, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. Safety is our utmost priority; you will be trained on and expected to follow all safety procedures and utilize the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves substantial physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse stock using RF scanners.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities against order documentation.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations and warehouse areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Identify and report any order discrepancies or quality issues.
- Meet or exceed productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse support activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
