We are looking for dedicated and energetic Order Pickers to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Huntsville, Alabama. As an Order Picker, you will be at the forefront of our fulfillment operations, responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products to fulfill customer orders. Your role is essential in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This position requires individuals who are physically fit, possess excellent attention to detail, and can work at a fast pace. You will use handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to locate and retrieve items from shelves, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are picked. Safety is paramount in our logistics environment; you will be required to follow all safety guidelines and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The job involves constant movement, including walking, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and designated areas.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items appropriately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided or certification may be required).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and RF scanner instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of and commitment to warehouse safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Basic math skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player attitude.
