We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in our logistics chain by accurately retrieving products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work quickly and accurately, combined with a strong sense of organization, will be essential. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse storage using order lists or scanners.
- Verify accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of picking areas and aisles.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Ensure smooth flow of goods within the logistics process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace policies.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
